Default Question about catalytic converters I pulled off my car

This probably isn't where this thread goes, but I know that more people have done LT's and seen factory catalytic converters that are in this section.
My car is a 98 and I just got done installing LT's. I was going to sale my catalytic converters to recoup some cash and was told they are aftermarket. Now, I was thinking that 98-99 had different shaped converters than a 00-02 because of the exhaust manifolds being a little different. Of course this is just stuff i've read on here in the past.
Everything I pulled off the car looked like it was original, but looks to me like the dates stamped on the converters are surely after 1998. Wonder if they were replaced by GM under a warranty or what?
Here are some pics, tell me about these catalytic converters

I just pulled mine off of my 99 and they're shaped different than that.

They still look like factory cats to me, so maybe under warranty?

I would guess that they were replaced at the factory.
Did your converters have any stamping on them?

I guess the old ones got clogged or something. Probably gonna make it hard to sale them since they aren't oem. Thanks for the help guys and the pic.

Shouldn't be hard to sell at all.

Scrap prices are high right now.

I wouldn't image they'd be hard to sell. As stated above, scrap prices are rediculous right now.
Just a week ago here in Lincoln there was a mass theft of them... taken right off vehicles. Go figure that one out.

I've heard of people doing it. I remember a few years ago people were stealing wheels off of trucks?? They always took the brake calipers and rotors if they could. I don't mean like 20" rims only. Random **** vehicles.

I don't even know of a scrap yard anywhere close to me. Towns close to me suck though. You gotta drive atleast an hour or more to get to a real town. You can't even get a band clamp here...sad... I just do everything online. Cheaper and easier in the long run. I want to get a cam when tax time comes and i'm scared to because I just don't know where to get my car tuned at. A bad tune can ruin everything about your car and I don't wanna be stuck with a bucking, shittin, stallin, dying car.
