Default Intake manifold question

I have a Gen III LQ4 6.0 with stock bore, compression and stroke and am putting on 243 heads with a Comp Cams 273/279 - 581/588 with 114° lobe sep. I want to make a intake up grade but do not want to change the whole front of the motor for a LS6 intake and cant afford a Fast so would a Trail Blazer SS intake flow better that a 2005 lq4 intake??? If not what are my options? Thanks

You can use the truck accessories with the ls6 intake you just need the dirty dingo idler relocation bracket. Their like $30-40

Default Idler Relocation

All you need to do is Move the bolt that holds the Idler to the location of the bolt behind the arrow ( Pic in the link ). Then you'll have to chop/saw off that corner of the alternator bracket. There's info in this post.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...te-intake.html

The bolt you need is a 10 x 1.5 x 15cm long. I had to space mine out about 8mm so the belt would ride in the middle.

You will also need the L92 style water pump so the water pump neck will clear the TB. I don't think there is a provision for a fan clutch attachment on that pump either.

Ok thanks , are all LS6 intake`s the same or is there one that is better?? Also are the MAP sensor and the injectors the same in the LS6 as the LQ4?? I found a LS6 intake but it is missing the MAP sensor and someone said the injectors for a car and truck dont interchange. Thanks guys
