So, what are you asking here? You trying to quiet your LM down? Might as well change the exhuast with your mods...

Out of curiosity, how much did you lose and how did you verify the change in power?

I would bet that it wouldn't be hard to find a muffler to replace the flowmaster. Are you saying you do not want to pay a muffler shop or just saying you don't want to buy a new catback exhaust? I would just doublecheck all the diameters on the pipe going into the muffler and out and then buy a replacement and see about clamping it in.

If you like the sound of the FM then I would just get an e-cutout in the I-pipe. I picked up like 9hp with one over my Borla and that was before LT's.

Do you want quiet or loud?

well it has not been verified that i have lost power the car had LM II on it when it was at the dyno. It just seemed to not pull as hard as it did before it feels like i lost about 10-15 HP. And then two days after i installed it i read about 80 series not being that great on flow and read that someone picked up 20 HP from e cutouts. He was running an 80 series. i expect to lose some but not that much. I want to reach 450 RWHP and this is making me go the other way too far.

do a single Dynomax race bullet out the drivers side and a cutout on the pass... that way you dont give up the tips...

Just cut out the FM muffler and weld in a Hooker Aerochamber or Magnaflow. The difference is that the FM has 3" tailpipes and the others have 2.5" but any exhaust shop can make it work. A buddy of mine did it. These mufflers are about $100 and Thunder Racing among others carries them.
