Default How close is to close?

I'm getting ready to start on my exhaust and was wondering how close the exhaust pipe can get to the fuel lines I'm going to (try) and fit my mufflers in the humps by the rear seats can I move the fuel lines over without moding them? I'm just nervous with how close I can get the exhaust to the lines. Also if anyone knows the dimensions of those humps that would help or if someone that has put their mufflers in them. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I read somewheres that you can flip the bracket that holds them around and move them up but I have slp lm in the hump with a little hammer mod and it's fine I'd say mine are about 4-6 inches

you can wrap the lines with some DEI heat tape as well. Its like aluminum foil tape, you can get it at the local parts stores. Been running mine this way for about a year and have had no issues.

While having the exhaust installed, the installer recommended that the lines be no closer than 2 inches....more for heat soak than danger.
I wrapped mine with insulation where the lines come a little more than 1 1/2" close to a muffler. I think that it would have been more advantageous to not wrap them, as this would allow more air movement/cooling to take place.
It's important to check clearances while the exhaust is HOT, because maximum movement and expansion of the exhaust occurs under this circumstance.
No probs that I can identify, so far.

I bought some 1 inch heater hose, cut a slit down the center and wrapped all my fuel and brake lines when I had true duals.
