I have talked with that guy quite a bit. He is in North Carolina, someplace where cops respect an awesome sounding car. He has said that cops have pulled up next to him at a stop light and asked him to rev it. When he does he gets the thumbs up from them.
I drove it into work today and had to run a couple errands at lunch. I was constantly looking over my shoulder for anything with lights on top of it or anything that resembled an undercover car.

I bet the sound is something that I would love but like a few others I do not like the looks. I have always liked symetry in a vehicle and I would rather have side pipes exit both sides.

But then again, form should follow function.
Oh, looks are always subjective. I copied this thread to my friend... he didn't care for the look either.
I like the look.

I think it looks really tough. I agree that it would look really good exiting on both sides of the car and rather than painting it, polish those tips up nicely. I love the look of the exhaust exiting in front of the rear wheels like on the lightning and the viper. I wish someone would step up and make a rocker panel to accomidate side exhaust.

I will be putting a rocker panel together for this. Once that gets on it will really help with the looks. I am also going to be throwing some high temp black paint over the whole boom tube. No chrome for me.
The biggest reason I went with this set up was the price I got for it. I ended into this system for less than 1/2 of normal cost. Once you are all said and done with something like this using all Dr. Gas components, you will be close to or over 1000.00.

I might go with the summit x-pipe just because it's a ton cheaper. If not then the setup I'm looking at will run about $700. Just for the exhaust. Not including the body work that I'll be doing to get this to tuck up nicely.
