Its cool. some members like them when vehicle is stock. once LTs go in, H/C etc you name it. the exhaust tone becomes horrible, and raspier. Im one of those guys who will forever love that mean nasty growl our muscle cars have. =] if you plan in keeping your manis, cats, try to fab up a nice tucked up TD setup. 3in pipe, x pipe out some chamber 10s and call it day.

and here is the TSP x-pipe with spiral flows, one of the better sounding x pipe set ups IMO

I'm looking for ones on stock manifolds idk about the first video but the second one had headers. The car is not a all out race car so idc about flow of the mufflers and no one has proven flowmasters suck besides 80 series flowmaster makes more than one muffler. Your not going to change my mind already have the mufflers so drop it

I cant find any one who has an x-pipe on the stock manifolds running the flowmaster 40's. hell if its not a race car why do you want the x-pipe? you are not going to get much more power or a different sound from a good 3" y-pipe(till you get in the 550+hp range) and you will spend about 100-150 more on the x-pipe.

i like the flowmaster setup i heard on a 94 z. but idk what setup it was.

it was louder than dads truck w/ duals and glasspacks so i thought it was awsome.

X pipe i got costs me $30 mufflers already got them so all I gotta do is weld them up which is free cause I'm doing it so all in all I've spent $60 so far for a true dual over the axle setup I don't think that's to bad

Then why dont you be one of those guys to find out for yourself. Pull the trigger already and do it. Fab up your own custom exhaust. its that simple.take pics and vids. you might be the first with this setup. I dont know. I had straight pipe with chamber 10s dumped. I know you can do a better setup than the one that I had. Good luck.

I don't know about cherry bomb glasspacks sucking on our cars. I have one on a dumped y pipe and it deffinately does not sound like that corvette. It sounds mean and good. Has a deep throaty rumble at idle and it can scream loud when it goes up through the rpms.

Where are you guys getting your x pipes at and around what price btw?

O.K. i looked at the vett vid again and it is not a x-pipe set up it is straight piped, it has only the one pipe per bank, that is why it sounds so bad.
