Cutout placement

I am debating over putting my cutout up pretty far on the I-pipe or under the rear passenger seat. Which spot is better for what reasons and which is louder?

Best place IMO is right after the Y-pipe so beginning of the I-pipe.

I have mine placed before the i-pipe bends up to go over the axle and am happy with it.

Under the passenger back seat. youll see a hump there. Thats where I had mine.

I put it at the back where the pipe curves into the muffler. LS1 with 3inch pipe. Here's a video.

I put mine under passenger back seat and put a turn down on it which eliminated the resonance of the exhaust pulses hitting the under body.

I'm about to install one as well. Was considering putting it immediately after the Y-pipe, but don't want excess fumes, vibration, and was worried about clearance. I'm leaning towards under the rear passenger seat as already stated above.
