Be sure to NOT use cheap gaskets that come with most headers (not sure what TSP supplies). Steel or bust. Mine blew in six different places within a year.

I went with Cometic MLS gaskets and a set of the Percy split lock headers bolts. I have been very pleased overall. They have allen head screws threaded down the center of the bolt head that expand the bolt to keep it from backing out. Got them both from Summit.

Thanks all, I used the gasket TSP offers for an extra $15 or so, hopefully at this price they are not junk, I guess I can always throw some RTV sealer on and hope they hold until I feel like taken them off over winter (which is right around the corner in OH) :/

If you want header studs on the inexpensive side, GM has a part number for exhaust studs and nuts. The nut has a oval shaped opening for locking purposes. Really nice pieces.

Stud - 11589154 you need 3 packages

Nut - 11609746 need 3 Packages also

Your total usually comes to around $40 or so, I've had them on my truck for over a year and haven't had any issues what so ever.

10mm head or 13mm head both hold up and work great!

I used the originals with no issue.

Just don't over tighten them; they can break.

Since the header flange is thinner than the manifold flange, make sure the bolts do not bottom out in the heads.
