Read his post. He said he's using a Flowmaster merge.

I'd recommend a Moroso spiral flow personally.

I'm looking for one that's not loud at idle but it screams as soon as I step my foot on the gas.

Hooker Maxflow... quiet enough when idle and normal driving... Loud as hell when gettin on her!

Sorry Flowmaster guys (and every other muffler fan out there) These are the ones that out flowed all of the competition...

Flowmaster 1 chambers.. They have drone in the cabin but the sound is leaps and bounds better than any bullet, flow almost identical.

I'd like to see the test (on a car) where max flows out flowed a 1 chamber or a bullet.

Ive seen the test. Im not sure they used a 1 chamber though. And that post is wrong IIRC Warlock mufflers were the most efficient, maxflows were second, borla pro xs was third. They did not test a bullet. The test was done by a 5.0 magazine

Why bother putting a muffler before the cut-out, if you're going to run the exhaust all the way out the back?

Yeah, that's true, there's no point, I'll put it after the cutout so the cutout flow straight trough to the outside to take full advantage of it!

Only muffler thats going to marginally outflow a 1 chamber is another race style muffler/bullet.

And ill stay away from bullet for the sound and lose .34 Hp.

I'm wondering what could be best on clearance or sound and flow, If i put a 4" muffler and downgrade to 3" or downgrade to 3" and then add a 3" muffler?

IMO, with the 4" cut-out just go with a 3" pipe after it. Now if you decide to not go with the cut-out then I'd go with the larger pipe all the way back.
