fipk idea
fipk idea well today i was thinking, what if you cut a hole in the bottom plate under the filter and made air box that goes down to the air dam under the car like the chris1313. i think that would work better than a lid set up because it can pull air from the top and bottom. whats your thoughts?
hey i have been thinking about this for ever!! i have the FIPK as well and was wondering what would happen if i opened that area up underneath it for airflow, not sure (no offense) but why anybody even buys those things, they are just sheet metal and some simple bends, i say that, but i'll prolly get one some day haha, but yeah if you come up with a "how" before i or someone else does put it up!
i went ahead and did it today. and i didnt buy it, it was on the car when i bought it. i got bored today and started taking it apart and he hole underneath really isnt very big but here is what i ended up doing.
not bad, i think i'm going to do something similar, haven't really dug around, but is there any room to run any "ducting" back there? i can't even remember the last time i had that thing off
