Godspeed 80mm Throttle Body

Does anybody have experience with the Godspeed 80mm throttle bodies? They're cheap, and look like they have plenty of material that could be removed with a porting job.

Seems like a waste of chrome to me if you're still using a
75mm factory intake.

Well, I have an LS6 intake, and the idea is to port the inlet and open it up to a larger size, and make a custom rubber gasket for it to seal.
