I have the gm performance wires now, on the dyne a year ago it was picking up miss on number 5. The dyno operator swapped wires and it moved, so we know its a wire issue. With a new motor built I am in the market for plugs wires
Taylor makes a solid core wire set that is a lot more than other set @ ohm of resistance.
Reading other wire details no other wire set offer solid core. Is there some thing special about them for the price increase
Car makes just over 500 on motor and has additional 175 shot. The gm wires have been good for 3 years now

Taylor wires = garbage. Had a *brand new* set on my old LT1 car. Ran funny after the wire install, so I ran it at night with the hood open. Looked like the freakin' fourth of July with all the arcing and cross-firing. Not one wire, nearly all of 'em.

I was curious about this last night as i was about to install some napa wires on my ls1. tested the resistance and it was all over the board. lowest one was about 350 ohms and most were around 7.1k. I'm taken those back and getting some msd. ones, as i noticed when i put napa ones on my pickup it seemed to idle rougher also.
btw, i thought solid core wires were a bad idea because of the interference they have with all the electrical components on newer cars.
