Remove post/support in intake???
Remove post/support in intake??? Did a search, went through 5 pages of threads... Found one thread where somebody did both a port and removed the posts, and lost 20hp.
But what about just the posts???
Anybody done this?
Speculations are ok, but prefer experience....

Do a search for free mods and you may come up with a write-up for removing them. I would suggest buying the cheapest, best fitting, or most appealing aftermarket lid you can find and use that. Throw on a smooth bellow and you are good to go.

I am thinking about removing mine.
Thought I would try this one more time....
Any benefit to removing those support posts in the middle of the intake manifold?
Seems like better distribution would be the result at high rpms...
