Default New exhaust Flowmaster 3"-4" merge w/ 4" cutout

I recently upgraded my exhaust. I had the original SLP headers, catted y-pipe, QTP 3" cutout (which the motor fell out of at some point), and a Spintech muffler. The merge on the SLP y-pipe is garbage. Anyone that has it should def considered cutting it out and going to a FM merge.

New setup is same SLP headers (unfortunately for the time being til next season) , 3" y-pipe cats removed with a Flowmaster 3"-4" merge, to a 4" Race Ready Performance cutout(don't have the electric cutout yet), to a 3" back to the Spintech muffler. Huge difference in sound. Has some rasp due to no cats but sounds evil. Much louder but with a cutout shouldn't be a problem. let me know what you guys think.

Old setup:

You can see where the white circle is that is where it bottle necks down to 2.25" terrible for flow.

I know I wish I could have made a drive by before I stored it for the winter. Only got to drive the car twice after I got this done. Gives me something to look forward to next season.

Haha yea those cats r no longer on the car. Def should have done that sooner.

Thanks guys.

I'm running a similar setup. Sounds like a pissed off racing farm truck when the cutout is open.
