I have SLP headers on my car. I'm rather pleased with them, but you'll find others here that don't care for them.

Flowtech's or Pacesetters will be fine. Dosen't really matter. Jethot's and Hookers are also good choices, but a little more $$$. About $630 for coated Hookers.

Run some searches, and check the sticky at the top of forum here.

Best bang for the buck I've seen is the MAC's and ORY.

I'm really liking my Pacesetters with ORY... install went pretty smoothly, even the y-pipe fit without too much drama. When I fired it up for the first time, I had a big ol' grin on my face... and no codes were thrown to boot!

My Pacesetter/ORY/Rumbler catback setup is LOUD for a bolt-on car... it sounds really good too, not just loud.

A friend of mine and fellow board member here has PPC headers/Hi-Flow Cats/Corsa catback and when our cars were idling right next to each other, we couldn't even hear his car until we put an ear next to his tailpipe.

I would definitely go for a coated set of headers... not only does it help with rust prevention, but more importantly, a good thermal coat (both inside and out) will keep the under-hood temperatures down.

As for who to get the coating from, that's up to you... Jet Hot is a popular choice and is the ones who coat the Pacesetters when you order a coated set.

I however, opted for uncoated, and got my own coating at a local company here. Here are some pics of my headers with a "black satin" coating on them. If you want to know what company I got these coated through, PM me... they do work from all over the country so you can ship your headers and y-pipe to them for coating if you want.

HTC coating is about the only thing that will stay for any length of time. Its hard to find any more, but if you can find a VHT dealer they can get you paint that will take the heat for a wile. I have also heard of people using oven paint

Unless you have some sort of hook-up on another coating, I would say coating from the company is a must. There are some people on here I have seen that have had the ability at work to do it. Without some sort, you will run into problems without coating i.e. rusting, overheating, etc. Maybe save a little more money and wait a little bit longer. Hope that helps bro!

pacesetter suck. The ORY is junk. The LT hits the kmember. My tuner/mechanic had to work magic to keep it from smacking the floorboard and kmember.

sucked. I wish i had just bought hooker's.

I asked why they suck so bad and the answer was "We know about fitment issues, we'll try to improve on them later". Thanks. Thats a great way to support your customers.

they are on already so its too late to switch, i made decent #'s with them, other than the JUNK fitment, they are fine, if you dont mind hatcheting up your ORY or going true duals you might be okay.

The kmember had to be ground down. someday im sure it will smack the header again when the mounts go south.

great job pace-setter.
