L92/LS3 heads, tsunami cam question
Been considering a H/C set-up for my stock cubed ls1, only mods so far are LT's,ORY,CB, LID and 12 bolt with 4.11's
im looking for a H/C setup that will allow me to avoid fly-cutting according to TSP's website, this cam allows more PTV clearance than the MS line of cams.looking for anybody who has this set-up to voice their experience with it, also valve size in the set-up, numbers made, and anything that i may need to think about while considering my options and set-up. ive never had any other LS car so this will be a big learning experience. any help is greatly appreciated

I don't think you can run the LS3/L92 heads on a 3.898 bore. I'm pretty sure the valves are too big, and even if they did fit the valves would be too shrouded by the cylinder walls to do any good.
You'd be better off with some ported LS6 (243s) or 5.3s. That's a nice cam though. Has a really nice choppy idle and a pretty decent RPM range.
Is this car your daily?
