Default Has anyone been able to "make an offer" with magnaflow?

I happened to come across a website while googling for cheapest magnaflow prices.

The site listed a price of $510 and it said either "Add to cart" or "Make an offer". So I tossed out a lowball offer of $325. They sent me an email responding with a counter offer of $386 (Down from original of $510).

The site also has a code for 20% off and free shipping, It accepted the code and I'm now looking at $308.80 shipped for Magnaflow Part #: 15684 (The single tipped catback)

It seems a little too good to be true, considering the cheapest I found it from LS1Tech sponsors was around $460 + Shipping.

Not sure if I can post the name of the site since they aren't sponsors.

Edit: They are on magnaflow.com's list of authorized dealers, so it must be a legit site then?

If they're a magnaflow authorized dealer I'd say go for it. It's been a while since I've been in the sponsor sales section, but If I recall right, one of the vendors had the magnaflow for around $380 shipped a while ago. So their counter offer seems above their cost should be.

Just use paypal or something like that if you can, just as a backup, but being an authorized dealer for them would be enough for me. Is there a number you can call them at just to talk to them and make sure they're a legit company?

Don't argue, send payment, get confirmation. Thats why I now shop only online for big purchases >$100
They always have deals and coupons that can be stacked. I started watching extreme couponing and got the idea. Just last week I bought some $139 basketball shoes for 65.12 tax and shipping included by just comparing prices and lookng for and online coupon.

I was thinking that the Magnaflow(single tip each side) cat back was about that price at ws6store.com I know the dual tips on each side is higher.

Had the same experience with another site when i bought a magnaflow magnapack catback for one of my mustangs. Threw a lowball offer that was 200 bucks less than anywhere else and they accepted. I paid with paypal and got it 4 days later. For some reason i think magnaflow has ALOT of wiggle room with their prices.

I think i've seen the same place selling on ebay. I made them a low ball offer because i was curious, and they came back with a very reasonable price as a counter-offer. Seemed almost too good to be true. Ended up getting my catback from a buddy.....

You are correct, ws6store has it for 384.xx shipped. I forgot about them! Now to figure out a way to convince the wife that I NEED AR Headers rather than WANT. =]

That price is pretty much what you should be paying. They mark it up hoping to get a few suckers that will not know any better. I bought the same exhaust a few years ago from Maryland Speed for about the same price.

Yeah, that's about right. I bought mines for about that same price from WS6store a couple of weeks ago. Lot's of other vendors have it for like $450-$510 for some reason though.

Just ordered a Magnaflow catback for an '06 Ram for $270 shipped. Thanks for the heads up on this deal OP!

*Edit: just got a notification from them that you cannot combine the make an offer with coupons. Ended up being $325 shipped.
