Wondering how was the header into Y-pipe connection fit? I have heard its very tight, some have cut slots, some have dremeled, some have went to the muffler shop and had one end expanded...did you have any fitment issues with any of tsp's stainless stuff?

It fit like a glove! I had no issues sliding them in. I tucked it up real close, in face, a little too close so as I ease off the clutch from a stop it will hit underneath a couple times, but nothing serious. I will adjust it when I get a chance.

But as far as the Y pipe sliding over the header collectors.... was it tight?

I took mine to the shop for expansion 3 times and STILL it was too tight. I finally said **** it and beat it on with a scrap chunk of 2x4. I still think my collectors were BAD out of round. The Y pipe would slide on all over it's other connections no problems.

I believe the collectors fit over where the Y pipe connected. They fit perfect.

*****UPDATE*****
I finally got time to take my car to the "muffler shop" in VA Beach to install the 3" powerstick right after my ORY. They marked off where the I-pipe need to be, cut it, welded in the powerstick. They cranked it up on the lift (I had no idea they were that far into the job ~15 minutes) and were checking for leaks, tightened my clamps down on the ORY and pulled up to the door. They charged me $40 for maybe 20 minutes of work. They were fast, friendly and did a great job! If you're from the VA Beach/Norfolk area Muffler Shop off of Holland Rd is a very good place to get your exhaust done. It's right next to DTP, which some of you locals should know them.

I will post some videos soon. It's in the 30s and it's too cold. The rasp at 1900 and 2100-2400RPM is damn near gone, it's slightly noticeable, but even myy gf said she liked it A LOT better now.

Sounds great man! Thanks a lot on the Muffler Shop reference! I am new to the area, live in VA Beach and just picked up a sweet 02 SS... bonestock... going to need a lot of work done to her soon... so I will check them out! Waiting to ship my 01 Z28 over from TN and switch my QTP LT Headers on over to my SS, and heard the fit is a B%@#&.... wanting to switch em over before I turn around and sell the Z... going to be a project and a half swapping them headers, but needs to be done! How is the Base's Auto Shop? Never seen it...

Haha! Yea yesterday would have been a fun day to work on the F-body in 30* weather! Thought about working on some "Do-it-yourself" Mods while pulling up to the Apartment, and then was like........ nawwww lol.

What ship are you on? Just got home from Deployment on the Bush...

The Auto Hobby Shop is great! I go there all the time and the guys hook me up a lot. I am on the McFaul which is a DDG. If I weren't about to go on deployment soon I would help you with the swap. What color is your SS? I see new Camaros all the time, but they just drive by like their the only one with a Camaro.
