Not really sure where to ask this since it pertains to different areas of the forum, but... I'm soon going to be dropping an LS3 into my '02 TA. I just realized that I may run into a problem. I'm planning on running a 92mm TB, similar size MAF, etc... but, what happens when I get to the airbox? I have a Suncoast Creations WS6-style hood w/ the Suncoast Creations airbox that I know isn't anywhere close to 92mm.
Looks like this:

Any ideas?
If it won't work, any other ideas on something that might?

You have 3 options, either plastic weld a bigger opening to the airbox, keep it and run a coupler to the MAF, or ditch it and buy a WS6 lower airbox and whatever lid you need for the MAF

If the cone filters are large enough (they look it...looks like a lot of filter surface area) and they don't neck down to some small diameter, yeah, I think it'd be fine.
I tend to agree with others that much bigger than 90-92mm on a stockish bottom end is really not important...but I still want a 102mm intake on my LS3 lol.
