I am putting a LS 1 into a 914 Porsche and wondered which stock exhaust manifolds I should go with and why?

I am using stock for clearance and exhaust flange location. Thanks

 

LS6 Z06 > LS1 vette > '00+ fbody

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe all ls1 manifolds are the same

 

Stock exhaust manifolds are HORRIBLE.
Can you at least fit shorties or midlength headers?
Or even custom LT headers?
If you do need better exhaust manifolds I heard the later Corvette Z06 pieces are the best.
But just so you know what you are giving up, here is my dyno chart before and after headers.

Nope, Corvette manifolds are more of a block hugger design vs. fbody manifolds. And they flow much better.

The fbody ones yes, not so with the corvettes. Sure LT headers will pick up alot of power, but shorties will not. So if he can somehow fit a pair of long or even mid-length headers sure, but otherwise stick with corvette manifolds.
