What is this sound

K this may be the third time i've tried to repost on this. Anyway. So basically once i get the restrictor plates made or sent to me. All i have to do is. Unscrew the two bolts on the flange. Rid of the old gaskets. Put the plate in between two new gaskets and bolt it back up? Sounds too easy.

yup dude it takes a few minutes, just be careful cause those bolts can be a bitch to get back in cause of the tight space. but other than that not much you can **** up. j ust take it easy when tightening down those bolts. no need to go nuts on them just snug em up. good luck man its not hard at all

Well lets just say my air system check valve won't be going bad anytime soon. I did the mod. Pretty easy, but i still hear the sound. I am starting to think it is only rasp. Which i've never heard before, so it makes me worry. Any other suggestions i am open to. LOL. Thanks for the help guys. I will figure this thing out sooner or later.

Hmm, not sure why, but i posted earlier and can't see my posts. But i'll try this again. I did the mod, and well lets just say, my air check valve , won't be going bad anytime soon. It was pretty easy. I am guessing its only rasp from my exhaust. Thanks for all the help guys.
You still have to replace the burnt valve(s)...... If you look in the manifold side of the valve you will see what I am talking about..... best thing to do is find somebody with LS1 Edit and remove the air system entirely then have the SES codes turned off. The valves cost about $25 bucks a piece....
