so heres the deal, did a few bolts ons to my ss (throttlebody, intake, exh, but the one that started the problems was when i installed LT headers a couple months ago on my 01 ss, and reused the stock o2 sensors (spliced) and soon after a idle problem started, i would start the car and during starting it would stutter and after finally starting it would stutter again and almost die unless i gave it gas right after starting. then it progressed to this and when sitting at idle in traffic it would stutter and throw vibrations through the whole car, idle rough and eventually one day it was so bad the SES light was steady flashing indicating a misfire condition, and i could barely get above 20, so i went 20 and limped it home. replaced the o2 sensors and she fired back up no problems. now im having it again, the exact same process of rough idle, stuttering, almost dieing at slow speeds/rpm ( less than 10mph and under 1k rpm) and stuttering at idle. i know where it will end with bad misfires and a flashing SES. the o2's i put in were bosch 13111's. now could these have gone bad already in only 2-3 months? they are long tubes no cats so more heat is being applied to them and i have not gotten the car tuned yet so am i right in thinking the combination of bosch sensors and LT's with no tune is burning these out?
also if the boschs are not recommended what is the part number for the denso ones? i need the corvette ones for my LT's i dont have extensions. and where do you guys recommend to get them?
The denso number I used is 234-4025 but I repinned mine to use the rear 02 connectors. I'm having the same issue though, although not such a rough idle. Check and make sure all plugs are good and tight, I thought mine were fine but I snugged up the plugs and number one was just handtight when I got to it. Solved part of my problem. From what I've read, LT's with no cats don't get hot enough for the sensors so they can't switch fast enough for the computer. And this will throw some codes, and if it's not tuned, some of those codes can cause you to run open loop all the time once it's triggered. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there please, but I've datastreamed mine here at work with the codes activated and it never went to closed loop.
is it doing the same thing now?? mine does exactly the same thing!!! its driving me crazy. i unplugged my O2s and it runs fine..been with no O2s for 3 weeks now...try unplugging yours and see if it helps.
...I ran around with no 02s plugged in for a couple days after installing my headers... I wouldn't reccomend it. Seems to run ok but check your plugs in a few days. It's a bad deal haha

Unless you didn't wire them properly that shouldn't be the issue. And by wiring properly I mean proper wire to proper wire, and twisting the wire together well, soldering, and insulating the wire.
My 02's work just fine with long tubes, no cats, and dumped just so you know.
Are you getting any other codes?
Try checking the plugs and wires.
Also clean your Mass Airflow Sensor, that gets over looked a LOT and it makes a big big difference in how the car performs. The MAF (mass air flow) is one of the sensors that if you unplug it the car will come up with a substitute value and the car will still run pretty good. See if it runs better with it unplugged, if it does you can bet it's dirty or bad.
