Default Bbk intake to fast 92

I currently have a bbk intake with the stock tb that has been cleaned up a little with a dremel. And I'm thinking about switching to a fast 92 with fast tb. The car has a ms4, ls6 ported heads, and several other boltons. My question is is the fast worth the 1050? I know lots of people use them so they most be a good product, but how much will I benefit from it? I don't ever really race, more of a weekend warrior and last time I was on the dyno I was in the mid 4's.

I actually find it amusing that anyone would even consider paying that for a used fast

Wish I could find a deal like that, all the ones I've seen recently have been $800+ with no tb. These guys are proud of those things. If you decide to sell yours anytime let me know, I'd be happy to give you what you paid for it.

Neh, keep the bbk, get some nitrous.

I have no plans of ever doing nitrous. I think next I will do a new clutch and urethane mm's, then later some new gears. That's probably a better way to spend my money. New gears should help me out a lot with the ms4.

instead of dropping a grand on intake and 3-400 on gears, drop ALL of that money into a 9" rear.

Keep the BBK SSi and either get a 85mmTB or open it up a little and install a edelbrock 90mm TB on it.

10-15 hp is only worth a grand if your livelihood depends on you getting to the finish line first.

So lets say you got a LS6 manifold (stock) and wanted a new manifold would ya'll go with a BBK or a Fast 92? I plan on running nitrous later.

FAST 92 if you find a deal. I've found a BBK with a matching 85mm TB for 500 several times. I wouldn't spend more than 800 on a 92/92

Thanks man,
do you happen to know if either of those manifolds can handle an air/fuel mixture in them without puddling?
