K&N filter fitment issues?
From what I've read on the boards, not very well at all. You have to use some type of weather stripping around the lip of the lid for it to fit "properly." If you're going to get a rechargable filter, get a Holley powershot. When I had mine, it fit great, no fitment issues what so ever. Any quality paper filter will be good though (and probably filter better), like a Wix or Fram, unless you're going with the K&N type for looks.

ive got one right now..i took it out to clean it and it looked like it didnt seal well..
at the top theres this long strip of dirt and what not. i might just switch on over to fram or wix.

Sounds like it's not sealing well. If you want to make sure (it's pretty obvious it's not though), just do the cigarette test. Basically, just light a cigarette, have your engine running, and move the cigarette around the lip of your air lid to see if any of the smoke gets sucked in. If it does, you've got a leak.
