yeah when i had my lm1 with a ory big cam it did sound like a farm truck, its a nice exhaust on a stock car but modded its just not the best sound, honest i liked my magnaflow alot more than the lm1 , even though magnaflow is kinda quite i thought it sounded great

This is based off of pure opinion. I personally love the sound of a good muffler, an O/R Y and LT's on these cars.

Here's a video of what my LM1 on my Camaro sounds like. Personally I like the sound a lot, but the highway drone is annoying. So I will be putting a Borla muffler on soon to tone down the drone.

Everyone who has heard my car always loved how it sounded.... Not sure why the lm1 gets alot of neg attention on these boards. I am installing a torquer v2 cam soon but I doubt that will change the sound much at all.

It is widely accepted that rasp=****. A crappy merge on these cars create so much rasp it is unreal. Throw an X, H, or a quality merge on and they sound leaps and bounds better.
My Kooks LTs, Kooks ORY, Magnaflow didn't sound bad.. I actually liked it. However, my old X pipe setup DEMOLISHED it as far as tone/quality/clearness/etc went. No comparison by any means.
A cam drastically changes the sound of an exhaust.

Well the masses strongly disagree.

I personally love a fast, loud, car. Majority of the members in here will not like a raspy car.

When I was going to order the catback for my 98 z I looked at so many videos and it got to the point where it all started to sound the same and I was really just getting annoyed. I finally came across a vid on youtube (1st one below) that I really liked so I ordered the SLP LM1 hoping for the best. The install was cake and Ive had no problems with it at all. It sounds good at idle, mean when you get into the pedal and at highway speeds you can hear it but it is in no way annoying imo. I made my own video after my install, ((2nd vid below) and being that its my car I think it sounds pretty damn close to what it sounds like in real life or at least as close to the actual sound your going to get out of a camera. For a catback system I think you'll like it and will deff notice the difference in sound.
