Default QTP or Kooks

Which would you choose QTP Longtubes with the high velocity merge collectors or Kooks Longtubes? Can anyone post some pros and cons for these headers? Thanks!

because the turn around time is so quick, i went with kooks. QTP was taking forever to ship out their pipes

you cant go wrong with either though, both are the best

no need for real merge collectors unless you're running straight exhaust, IMO.

Thumbs up

QTP all the way, IMO the best LS1 header available, especially with the merge collector option.

Kooks in my opinion are the only way to go! There quality is second to none, and the price is fair. If I don't have them in stock I can have them fairly quick. PM me when you get ready & I will make you a good deal

Kooks has the best ground clearance because they oval the y pipe on the drivers side so that you can get the max ground clearance and it wont bang the floor. Kooks lt's and ory have the same ground clearance as stock does

Thanks everyone! I think I have decided on going with the Kooks in stainless steel with a catted y pipe. I also plan to add an electric cutout to my Borla catback. Will I need to buy anything extra for the install or is everything included with the headers and y pipe? Thanks!

Sorry, those names don't ring a bell. Are they Fbody guys? If so what do they drive, I may have seen them around town. I am not all that good with names.
