I'd go for a FAST. We have nearly the same identical combo. Mine at the time dynoed through a Kooks Catted Y-pipe, which I believed robbed me of 3-4 HP. Now I have off road X and duals dumped. The FAST #s to #s right now is 15 RWHP above your current number. You could definitely see the 20 RWHP you're looking for with a FAST and ORX. I know it's not apples to apples with different dynos and other weather and tuning variables.
There is a link in my sig to my dyno thread.

The volume argument can't be made as the LS engines are the hottest engine going right now. So there are plenty of them out there.
I can go to Jegs site and buy a tunnel ram manifold with 2 Holley carbs, fuel line, linkage and gaskets for a SBC for $950.

As a newbie to this LS stuff, I have to ask. How in the hell can they justify $800 or so dollars for a hunk of plastic and not even include the throttle body??

Yea, anyone with common sense knows that $1,000+ for a molded piece of plastic is insane, even with the r&d involved, which I assume wasn't too extensive.
What do I know though, I'm no expert.

First of all it's doubtful you can find a ported fast 90/ p&p 90 tb for anywhere under $1000...
Second of all every single dyno test I have seen with a fast Intake swap (90, 92, 102) has always picked up low teens hp in the higher rpm range and only picked up under 10 ft-lbs...and all that comes at a price because the fast almost always raises the power band as well as low end torque sometimes to a tune of 10+ tq under 4000rpm....
All that being said I wouldn't waste my time with a fast intake other than a mamofied 78mm unless you have the cubic inches to deem it necessary...just my .02

Not sure what dynos you are seeing I have never seen that. The 102 will own any FAST period because of runner design. They accept 90 or 92 TBs so there is no need to buy a 90 manifold

I have a busted lower end on my 90 and to be honest, I haven't seen good data reported on the 102. I've got to buy something, but not sure about the 102 yet.

Tony himself has came on here and said the 102 is better than even the 92. I don't need a dyno sheet, I trust the man's word.
However...
Insanely expensive. Wish I could afford it. When I finally do pony up and get one, the hoods getting replaced and the cowl is getting cut. If I'm going to run one, I'm going all out and running the LSXRT truck version.

Also FAST came into a thread and explained why they phased the 92 out. They said it was such a superior design and retained the ability to take a 90 or 92mm TB so there was no need to keep it around.

Well, now I gotta figure out where to get one from. Looks like I'll need some fuel rails and few other parts too.
