Quick Alternator Question

Ok I am TRYING..lol to help a friend troubleshoot an alternator issue. We took an alternator from a working car and installed it and the same thing. It wont charge no matter what. The main line coming across the bottom is solid, the connections for that are solid unless there is a fuse in it like I found on my vettes main wire. What should be checked on the harness in the top maybe?

You do have the clip plugged in dont you. Did you verify the wire is on the same pin of the clip?

Yes and yes. What are those two wires?
