Default Exhaust clamps

The exhaust system I purchased is coming with u-bold clamps that I really dont want to use. Welding is not an option and the wide 3" lap band clamps wont fit on the tighter areas like the muffler inlet/outlet...

Can I use t-bolt clamps like what the turbo guys use on the silicone tubing? If not, where can I get a pair of quality 1" wide clamps like what were on my old Borla system?

TIA

I know u bolts aren't the best but what makes them so bad? Not having as much surface area to hold a seal?

my local O'Reilly's carrys the really wide stainless ones - 3"+. I needed something narrower for the muffler inlet/outlet where the curves wouldn't allow something that wide. They stock the t-bolt clamps for intake tubing but after some research, I found they aren't the best or very strong for exhaust applications.

these are the ones I ended up getting. I always slit-cut my exhaust tubing so they're perfect.

at the bottom
Clamping force is up to ten times greater than regular T-bolt clamps

The ones from the website I posted above broke within a day or so - not the clamp itself but the little piece that rides the bolt and keeps pressure on the pipe. I managed to make them work anyway after cutting slots in the ID pipes, tack welding them so they didnt move, and tightening the clamps with an impact

You're looking for Torca style clamps from Accu Seal.
