I have your 1 7/8" ceramic coated headers that I bought from you guys last year. How much more HP do your new headers with the velocity spike make over your 1 7/8" without the velocity spike? Is it worth swapping over?

I know TSP has an in-house dyno....maybe some numbers on these "spiked" headers vs the standard headers are in order.
IMO, it won't gain much if anything at all.
1 7/8 TSP Velocity spike headers vs 1 7/8 TSP standard headers.

George Kook Jr:
A better alternative for the racer on a budget is the spike collector. The spike unit is a collector with an actual spike welded into the center of the collector, at a point where the four tubes converge. "The spike guides the flow to the center of the collector and that increases flow," stated Kook. This spike setup is less expensive than a true merge collector, but it offers similar results.

That is the collector that you see kind of neck down than flare back out, it helps scavenge exhaust gases therefore increasing power. It causes a venturi effect in the pipes. They are a pretty expensive option
