I received my set yesterday from you guys and I was surprised to see the velosicity spike. I couldn't believe tha quality of the headers. I can't tell one difference between the LS1 TSP 1-7/8" Stainess headers and my LT1 Kooks 1-7/8" Stainless headers. I am very pleased with the $600 savings, that allowed me to purchase 4" Mufflex cat-back system.

TSP- look for new Dyno numbers in the coming weeks with your new 1-7/8" Headers, a 102/102 upgrade , and 4" cat-back exhaust. I'm looking to improve on my 475rwhp pump gas and 507rwhp race gas numbers. Thanks for making horsepower cheaper! I couldn't have asked for a better speed shop in my neighborhood.

Well my set should be here Wednesday. I am the biggest pusher of the 1 7/8s but I went with the 1 3/4 due to cost, I still need motor mounts gaskets and new O2 sensors

Thanks. I guess that somewhat applies to the Reverse-Cone Megaphones I have on my 650 Triumph motorcycle. I can feel the power kick in at about 4K and it keeps on pulling to 6k...when I stop twisting

Thank, Tony

Is it possible to get the y-pipe with a 4" out to mate to a Mufflex 4" catback?

You can't order it like that, no. I'd suggest finding a 3.5" - 4" reducer and getting it welded on. The merge is 3.5" until it necks down to 2.75

Here's a pic of the 3.5" to 3" I just ordered for mine from Columbia River Mandrel Bends. The reducer is on the left. The expanded coupling on the right will be welded to the end of my LoudMouth since it's not even 3", but also made to mate to a stock Y pipe.

Hope this helps

Headers installed tonight, they went right in. I have a tubular K, but i didn't have to pull the starter or steering knuckle off. I did pull the oil filter but that took 10 seconds extra work. They fit great and look way better than my old Pace Setter 1-3/4 Headers.

Curious as to why you got that exhaust. I know of several examples of people gaining over 20rwhp by taking that muffler off

The sound, and performance. The 3" system was going to really choke itself on the 200 dual stage with this little motor.
Planning for the next build a little I guess.

Thanks for the info and picture. I'd like to keep it as open as possible rather than choking down and trying to open back up. May just have to make my own y-pipe considering that FM makes a 4" merge. I'd rather just pay TSP to make it, though

It is absolutely recommended to do so. You're already there and have AMPLE room while the manifolds are off. I'd hate to get all my **** done and buttoned up just to have a collector or Y banging on the body of the car.

I'll be picking these up soon to replace the 8 year old Pacesetters that are currently on my car. Coating is almost completely gone.

I just installed mine on Thursday. Just changing to the TSP 1 7/8s from my old flowtech headers made a big difference in the way my borla sounds. It's hard to describe, it's deeper, less raspy and louder lol. I enjoy my car just a little more now
