Not to worried about what it sounds like im more worried about performance. I just don't want something unbearable to daily. Which is why i am leaning more towards Stock exhaust with a nice merge collector as a y-pipe (3.5"-4") and a 4inch e-cutout behind that. I say 3.5" because i plan to run Edelbrock LT's.

Too much interior resonance, couldnt use my phone or talk to anyone hardly. This was only a bolt on car, a cam would be much worse. Some minor clearance issues with people in the back. It wasnt worth the negatives to me to save what maybe 25-30 pounds? Horsepower difference is negligible too, unless you are a hardcore racer looking for every hundredth you can scrape up. Im in the market for another Fbody and I assure you it will not have dumped duals on it lol.
lol i feel the same way, i just heard theres a "huge" difference in weight and these cars are pigs compared to what ive owned (honda's). So i figured any weight lost is a plus.

Op you are really overanalyzing this. Me personally I will never run a y pipe again. The only reason I am now is because I got the catback for free. I have TSP TDs with Sweet Thunders sitting in my garage waiting to go on. Why not find someone in your area that has dumped duals, ride in their car and compare.

Dropping 30 pounds is a lot of weight but its personal preference on if its bearable.

This is good advice, but I loved it in other peoples cars. Hated after a couple months in mine. The nice thing they hold their value pretty well. Id buy a set try it, and if you dont like it you can sell the setup for pretty close to what you had in it. I bought mine used and sold them for the same price I paid. So I lost nothing and got to try it out.

If you want a good sounding exhaust like they said dont get dumps bad tone. You could find a shop to make you true duals, bassani makes 2.5 inch true duals for stock manifolds but can be converted, or kooks makes a ture dualexhaust. Yes its expensive but it sounds damn good and its not loud and has zero rasp and drone. What area are you in?

Miami, FL.

Not interested in off the shelf cat backs or full exhaust's way over priced for how they perform. true dual dumps sound amazing. I would never run a 2.5 inch exhaust on any of these cars. That's to small for even all motor honda's.

When running duals 2.5" pipe is what should be used 90% of the time. It's not tiny in any way.

I'm making the switch to the TSP true duals hopefully soon.
Right now my setup is ARH 1 7/8" longtubes with an ARH ORY and Borla adjustable catback. I Run it with no plate 95% of the time and I just don't like the tone when cruising around. Right around 2k rpm it has this loud megaphone resonance thing going on that is downright obnoxious. When I'm actually flooring it though... HOLY MOLY it SCREAMS.
