AIR Removal

For the guys who have pulled their AIR out, how did you get this cylinder off? Did you take off the bracket, just yank the dang thing off, or is there something else holding it on we're not seeing?
We're currently looking at 3-4 different AIR removal tutorials, but didn't see anything specific about removing this piece. In other user's pics, it's just there, and then it isn't.
Could use some pointers, thanks!

Texan: Out of curiosity, you're saying that bracket grounds other things and needs to be put back on? My buddy's asking, we're wondering what all it grounds.

I had to make a 14" long extension monstrosity socket to get the pump out (plastic shroud under the pump wouldn't come off all the way so I had to work around it), but using that and some creative snip work on the hoses, everything else came out. Fired it up after finishing my exhaust and there was no vacuum leaks to be found.
Appreciate the help, it definitely saved me an hour or so of time today to get some other stuff done.
