If your car needs to be tuned, don't hesitate going to Frost! He will get the most out of your set-up and you won't have any issues, he knows what he is doing.

+1 on the increased line pressure. Makes a world of difference comparably to stock.

I want to send mine out to Frost for a tune but haven't put my LS6 intake on yet. Do you guys think I'd be leaving a lot on the table by doing the intake after the tune? Right now I have headers, ory, cat back, 80mm tb and maf.

Me personally? I'd just put on the sheet that it's already installed. Just try to put it on pretty quick after you get the PCM back, or even while the car is down when PCM is in the mail.

Do you already have the LS6 intake?

6 speed car here, no 'wow' factor like everyone here mentions. Happy with the tune, but the headers themselves made a huge difference, the tune didn't really make a huge difference, I could feel.

I'm not looking for anything magical, I just want my car tuned optimally for the headers/ory.

I drove up there, not quite a 2 hour drive, and got him to re-tune my car on the dyno. I got it tuned first with the same mods in my sig minus the TSP headers/ORY. I was surprised at the gains from just the TSP headers. I went from 331HP/337TQ to what's in my signature. He knows what he is doing!!!

I sent mine to him and I would say my car just ran smoother afterwards. When I drove it after I installed LT"s it was stronger, but after the tune was much better. The thing I liked the most was the tuning of my fans. Keeps everything so much cooler and no more annoying CEL. Turnaround time was awesome as well. Great experience and a awesome mod.

The biggest difference I noticed was improved mpg, Seems like the gas was just gone UNTUNED, everytime I got in the car it costed me a 1/4 tank with minimum driving.
It does seem to perform/run better that's for sure. You can definetly "feel" the difference.
On my 2000 Camaro SS I just got done with 799 head swap, comp 918 springs, trickflow 7.425" pushrods, ls6 op, cloyes tc, TSP 228R on 114 LSA, LS6 Intake, Ported TB, FLP LT's, Catted Y-pipe, SLP Lid, SLP Dual/Dual.

And it's untunned, I've driven it 320 miles and the gas is insane. I eat up a 1/4 tank driving to class (10 miles away) and back. Smells like gas through my HI-Flo catted Y-pipe when I'm at a stop light. I just sent a PCM I bought off eBay to Frost to get tuned. I can't wait, it's almost unbearable driving around with that terrible MPG's. I hope the tune helps out in that department. And I haven't hit it past 4000 rpms because I'm worried about hurting it.

I figure about 10-15rwhp based on my track #'s.

Its the driveability that makes his tunes great.

His tune will get you close or driveable but you really need a dyno tune with your mods.
