Anyone running a Flowmaster Hushpower muffler?

I myself have been set on doing a merge into a 4" system and finally did so this spring. I wanted to keep it 4 the whole way, and if they had a Hushpower that was 6" around with a 4" inlet/outlet, I would have gone that route myself. Unfortunately 3.5" is the only one at 6". So what I went with was a 4" MBRP Quiet Tone Diesel (yes that says Diesel, as in truck) muffler. It's 30" in overall length with a 24" case at 6" around. I used this on a setup with 1 7/8" Kooks long tunes into a custom catted Y-Pipe that merges to 4" and then directly into the muffler; finally dumped with a turn down pointed sideways. I'm not a big believer in the theory of "this muffler brand will make your car sound like this or that." The muffler has no idea what motor is in the vehicle. Hell, when I received the receipt for this muffler, it showed it being designed for a Cummins. For someone to believe this "diesel" muffler was going to make my LS1 sound like a Cummins is just crazy.
It's by no means quiet, but I'm amazed that it's actually tolerable. This is with a heads, cam, intake car. I haven't revved it up, or driven it yet, but here is an idle clip:

Based on hearing this again, I'd say it's every bit as tame as a lot of the 3" catbacks that I've heard.
I'll work on getting some videos of revving it up just to see how angry it's going to sound wound up. I'll see about maybe getting cilps of what it sounds like under idle inside the car as well.
Keeping a 4" setup quiet and tolerable for a youngster to ride in the back might be tricky. I have no idea how loud your setup is now; for all I know the clip I just posted may be louder than what you already have. I just thought I'd throw it out there. I imagine a 3.5" hushpower would be every bit as quiet as this setup I've posted.
Good luck on it, and let us know what option you go with, and what it sounds like. I'm very curious to see/hear what you come up with.

These mufflers will still be loud i'm sure, but actually taking the exhaust all the way out the back of the car will help a lot i think...as dumped exhaust gets annoying after a while. It isn't my daily so my daughter doesn't ride in it that often or hardly at all. I would just like to take it out to pick her up from daycare once in a while or go for a ride on a nice day.
