i'm considering to change my stock throttle body from my z28 98, i'm getting a 92mm, just wanted to know how it will improve perfomance, i know since it is bigger more air is going into engine so there will be more power flowing into chamber and cylinders... does it worth it in an engine almost stock? mods are: cam 210/214 LSA 112, RC:11.0 5.3L engine heads ports ported, im using stock intake, injectors and coils from 5.7 engine.

 

i don't think it is worth it on a stock intake. the intake opening is still only 78mm (iirc)

 

Not going to get much of a gain at all with a larger TB on a stock intake. I would just port the stocker for now, then once you upgrade your intake do a bigger TB.

get an ls6 intake manifold (assuming you havent already) and port your stock TB. You should be looking at around 10-15 rwhp from that alone.
