Default Dynomax VTs with 408, cam, LTs?

I have a 408 with cam, long tubes, and TSP true duals with bullets and turndowns before the axle. This thing is waaay too loud for street use.

I got "pulled over" while idling at a red light. The cop told me to "watch my performance out there" and that he would be watching for me. jeez...

Im wanting to get the exhaust run over the axle with mufflers and tips. I think these VT mufflers would be a good choice. With this setup I think the VTs will be plenty loud? I hope?

Im just not sure they will fit after the axle.

Any ideas?

I have a big cam LT1 with dynomax bullets dumps, ran the car like this for 7 months until people in my apartment started to complain about it. Just get a cheap cat back and put a bullet in the I pipe and put a e-cutout for when you want to have fun.

I already have Texas speed true duals. There is no I pipe.

The cutout idea would be used as the VTs have a built in valve. I just wonder if there is room back there...

FM 3"/4" Y-merger, 4" cut-out, 4" to 3" reducer, then a Magnaflow cat back(MPE-15684 about $521).
