radius inside head ports?

Question radius inside head ports?
does anybody know something regarding to radius inside head ports? these go before seat valve go, according to a book these radius help to improve flow, intead of mixture hitting backside of valve, it helps to make it go freer, i have never seen it on stock heads from any mark, it comes in some aftermarket ones, does anybody know something about it?

i believe these radious produce swirl effect but not very sure, these are called short and long radious inside ports just a bit before where valves work.

Are you talking about the short side radius? If so its the turn at the bottom of the runner

yes, those the ones i mean, do you know something about? talking about perfomance? how are these radius affecting runner flow?
