It's the brake booster hose/line that's gonna give you trouble with the opsu, not the AIR tubes.

Thats right, you have to route it around the sensor so as you pull it doesnt yank and break it. Thanks for the refresher.

An ls6 was good for about 10 fwhp on an engine dyno with heads and cam. A bbk was good for 17 fwhp over ls1, 7 over ls6. Bbk wouldve been a better bet going from an ls1, not worth it going from an ls6. But every car is different......but ide say on your setup around 10 whp or less

Friend of mine has a dynojet 224 chassis dyno in his shop, he says he typically sees a 10rwhp gain when swapping from an ls1 to ls6 intake on bolt on cars.

An ls6 intake swap is next on my list!

My car went from catback+lid only to full exhaust + ls6 intake. The damn things pulls like a f#*%ing freight train now after around 3.5K rpms. Mine is getting pretty poor fuel mileage though and it needs at least a mail order tune.


Bottom line - you should notice the extra power!
