Default FAST 102 here i come!!!

After looking for Fast 90/92 which were ridiculously priced. i say **** my wallet and decided to go with FAST 102
i'm going to buy everything from WS6Store, just called mike and will place the order tomorrow.

Now just want to make sure i have everything that i will need to order for my FAST 102/102 conversion from ls6 intake manifold and stock TB today.

here's what i'm going to order:
FAST 102 IM
NW 102 TB
Fuel rails conversion kit (FAST #146021-KIT)
Runners gaskets
O rings
Oil pressure sending unit (just in case)
Add here for more parts

now the questions
1.i'm aware that clearance is going to be an issue, other than waterpump what else should i be concern?

2.i already have ls6 intake manifold, that means i dont have to deal with the coolant lines like guys that convert from ls1 intake manifold right?

3.i have this type of injectors (they are 36 lbs) are they considered fat one? if yes is there any spacers that i could buy, i'm not planning to change injectors to the skinny one.

4.for all of you guys that running stock MAF to 102 TB do you know what's the outside diameter of stock maf and 102 TB? i'm going to buy silicone reducer from www.siliconeintakes.com

5.can i use the stock TB TPS sensor on the NW 102 TB?

6.any of you guys have any problem with the PCV system when installing FAST 102 IM?

i guess that's all for now, i'm going to do the install this weekend and the car is my daily, so i'm trying to have every parts ready first because i need the car to be done over the weekend.

any inputs, comments suggestion will be appreciated. Feel free to add on my list if you think i need more parts

I ordered an LS2 pump from rockauto - it has the rear cover pressed on and doesn't have the boss that needs to be ground down like the ls1 pump. Also bent my front coolant crossover line gently down by hand to clear the mouth of the intake. That answers question #2 as well.

I think those are the fatties, but I'm not 100% on that. You can either run the lower injector spacers or get skinny ls2 injectors. I got some shorty skinny ls2 bosch injectors from FIC - no spacers needed. If you get the tall ls2 injectors you need to run 4 spacers under where the fuel rails mount.

Not sure on that one. I'm running a halltech (Powermax) maf and a 102 TB. 4" 22 degree tube to connect the MAF to the TB, and a 4.25" silicone tube to connect the MAF to the FTP 104mm lid since the MAF won't fit inside the outlet of the lid.

Yep.

Don't know yet, haven't gotten that far. Shouldn't have any issues though.

Have all the parts today. going in to the car tomorrow or sunday. i'll snap couple pics later.

what do you guys use for the O ring seal between the throttle body and the intake manifold? i dont think my ls6 intake seal would work, or would it?

My intake manifold and nick williams TB doesn't come with the O ring seal, darn ridiculous for the price of the intake i'll say

Just ordered the same combo, 102 LSXR and a NW 102. Can't wait for them to get here, should compliment the new cam and converter nicely. I also have a 6.0, an LQ4 though.

Those injectors you already have should have worked just fine. I have green top 42's and I'm going to see how they fit. People are saying it needs to be modified, it won't work, etc. but I found this picture when searching google... Doesn't say anything about needed to grind the intake or space injectors. And FAST even used to sell injectors like these part # 304200

1. You'll need button head Allen bolts on the valley cover to clear the bottom of the manifold.

2. you may have to massage your ls6 crossover tube down a bit to clear the bottom of the intakes inlet in the front.
3. Those injectors are not the fatties, and will work fine without modification. As far as those green tops pictured, you can see where the edges of the top shell of the manifold were ground a bit to clear the manifold at the black portion of the injectors.

Not only that, but they're still kicked off at an angle / not installed straight.
