Which heads for 383?

You have no responses because you have asked a totally open ended question. If you would like a response, rephrase you question to somthing like this.
"I would like some opinions on the best choice for a head under $1500 (or whatever your budget is)for use on my 383 stroker. I would like to be able to use the stock rockers. The intended use is a weekend cruiser with an occasional trip to the drag strip. Drivability and throttle response is more important than being a dyno queen. The car is an A4 with a 3600 converter."
Some details about the cam you intend to run and the pistons, ie flat top, with or without valve reliefs, etc. will also help. If you have decided that you want a ported factory or an aftermarket head you could also help you further define it. I'm not trying to be disrespectful here, just help you get some meaningful info, and not crickets.
I have found how the question is worded, makes a huge diference in the quality of the responses.

A.I. 226cc 243's would be another option if afr money seems a little high. They perform a lot better than their price would indicate, especially if you can track down a used set of 243's.
