Do you basically just pull the line going to the throttle body and mount it to the top of the catch can and then the middle line back to the throttle body. Tia

you got it, normally the stock hose between the pcv and throttle body is removed, add a new line from pcv to top port on can, then the other new line from side port of can back to the throttle body.

We are still trying to keep up with orders, thanks for the patience on the backordered kits.

I thought the can went between the PCV and the intake, not the throttle body?

You are correct! It is the Intake, but it connects just behind the throttle body.

Yes, the connection is on the intake, right behind the throttle body.

The choices are simple, install a catch can to stop much of the oil vapors from entering the intake or just keep sucking the oil vapors into the intake/engine. There are several catch cans on the market plus some that guys have made themselfs, in my opinion the AMW catch can stands at the top of the list.

Wayne, For the money it's probably one of the best mods you can do.

Ciao,

I put my AMW catch can in about 1.5 months ago. I have driven my car about 500 miles since the can was installed. Today I decided to open the petcock to see if the can has caught any oil. Here is what I found....

It looks like the can is doing it's job!

I just installed my AMW catch can and Dark Age 53's bracket last weekend, and let me tell you, both pieces are top notch. Al (Dark Age 53), kudos to you. Excellent fit and excellent quality on your bracket. If anyone is considering doing this catch can, he makes a very cool bracket that mounts it to your head. My girlfriend helped me install the thing, and said it looks like it came that way from the factory. Granted, she doesn't really know that much about cars, but she at least knows what looks right and what doesn't. Thanks again for the bracket Al, and thanks for the great customer service.

To the AMW catch can folks, bravo as well. You make a VERY high quality piece...seriously, you put a lot of thought into that thing, and it looks top notch. I had a POS catch can in there before made from some ABS piping from Home Depot, and it worked okay (caught a little oil), but I feel much better knowing that this is going to work better simply because of the better design. Any success you've had selling these cans is because you make a quality product...have no doubt that I will recommend one to any of my friends that have an LS1, and have already started that process.

Steve ( MeenSS02 ), Thanks but you might hate me in a little while, I'll be posting what I've done to my bracket lately. If you want to send your bracket back ( no problem ) I'll make the changes to it if you want? Again, thanks for the compliment.

Al

Al,

I hate you plenty now. Now I wish I would have waited just a little longer But I guarantee you that that bracket ain't goin anywhere...it serves its purpose, and I don't even want to part with it temporarily. If anything, I'll just take care of it myself. Thanks for the offer though...it is greatly appreciated.

I would also like to thank Steve for the compliment as well as everybody else who has replied about the catch cans.
We are trying to branch out a little with a few distributers, for the Houston guys, MTI is now carrying the kits, really cool guys to deal with.
Again, many thanks for the support and compliments.
