I do not plan on changing motor mounts at the time of my install. Is any grinding necessary on the k member for header tube clearance? I had to do this with my jet hots. Also, do I need to consider purchasing a mufflex y pipe brace to keep the y-pipe from hitting the floor pan? I didn't need one for my automatic car but it has a custom fabbed Y. I know the ARH y is one of the best fitting y-pipes out there. Anybody got any pics of the clearance when installed on their car? I don't want to change motor mounts because I drive the car everyday and I've heard some issues with some people having vibrations transmitted through the steering column and into the wheel with poly motor mounts.

Ordered one of those with a new t-stat got it installed today. Only thing left is a tune. From what I can tell, the slp dual dual exhaust isn't that much louder with the headers. Its deeper for sure. I'll really be able to tell when I drive it after I get it tuned.I'm going to have to clean it up under the hood next weekend. Got pretty dirty under there during the swap.
