I did not use the factory; I used the hex that came with the intake. I believe the two short ones are for the TB linkage bracket. And correct, the other 5 are for your TB. My intake did not come completely assembled; I had two long bolts in the bag. My intake came with two small o ring gaskets (about the size of the rubber above the knock sensors), did yours? I have no idea where those things were to go.

I'm a bit more of an optimist based on LGs results. I've also seen enough evidence that the TB is starting to become a restriction at my power level. I'm guessing 15 or so RWHP gain
