Another happy Potz customer.

I didn't remove the o-ring from the TPS sensor off my old TB. He was nice enough to send it back to me.

I'm interested in one, and have been looking at one for some time now. So, how much did you end up paying? I've read the add and it sais that you'll be charged 100 and something, and once they get your core back they refund like 70 dollars or something.

They probably will charge the rest if they don't get the core back, I'm guessing. I'm interested in knowing how it works out since I'm looking into purchasing one myself.

You guys must have difficulty reading, because his ad clearly states how it works and how much it costs.

You buy the TB
You pay for the TB
He sends you a separate invoice for the core
You pay the core charge
He sends the TB
You send your old TB back
He refunds the core charge

I have a Potz TB and MAF ends. I put both in at the same time and I noticed a little increase in power but mostly throttle response. Awesome guy, and yea I paid like $150, he sent both, then I took mine off and sent them to him and I got like $80 back, it was a great deal for $70

I read like 2 or 3 threads about Potz eBay TB's before I bought one. It was better than a lid IMO. First mod I ever got was an SLP Lid, I felt something but nothing great. Then I went and did the P&P'ed TB and MAF ends, a lot of people will say ported and descreened MAF's are bullshit but I figured wtf and did it anyway. No SES lights, and a much better throttle response.

I'm going to order one here in the next couple days. What are some opinions on the coolant bypass kit?

I would say do it. It can't hurt and keeps hot coolant from running through the throttle body. Supposedly it was meant to help icing of the throttle body in very cold temps which most of us will never experience.
