Default Prof Prod Typhoon intake with LS1 coolant tubes?

I've read that it is preferable to maintain the use of LS1 coolant crossover lines when swapping intakes, so a lot of people grind/break off the ribs or flatten the tubing to get them to fit under LS6 or FAST intakes. However, being aluminum, I feel like it's going to be a bit hard to just break off a rib. Does anyone have any experience with fitting them under a Typhoon?

i saw a post where someone flattened the tubes enough to get a FAST on, should work for the other ones as well. best thing would probably be to get two of the coolant crossovers and hook them together.

Put it together yesterday. Just tapped the lines with a hammer to flatten them a little and get them to sit flush on the valley cover and it fit just fine.

Perhaps the difference is that you used the LS1-style 85mm Typhoon and I have the 96mm LS2-style. Either way, not too much effort is needed to fit it.

Updated for anyone who stumbles on this thread looking for info: I swapped to an LS6-style valley cover (with the built-in PCV) and the coolant lines no longer fit. I had to switch to a front crossover and plugs in the rear.
