True story. In sig.... well, if you're on mobile, there is no sig. The band clamps have since been flipped so the heads are pointing down instead of the bolts.

See my recent write up after BBK install.
I gained 26 rwhp and 19 lb/ft through their y pipe with high flow cats welded in. I do have a mild cam which helps too.

I'm not bitching... that's a damn good gain. I just can't help but wonder how much power was left on the table due to primary as well as Y size.

I like the BBKs I currently have but those are some very nice headers for the price & the Y is made similar to the BBK the way its clamped together with the really nice band clamps, nice.

The headers & Y didnt come with the clamps? Them clamps might not be cheap but they work great.

Came with the crush clamps, which were promplty cast aside right out of the box. The headers however came with 2 stepped band clamps.

Agree though, well worth the price.

I agree with the BBK guys above. The price is great as well as the fitment, but remember they dont work with EGR & AIR, so you need to delete and plug the EGR in the manifold if you're not running an LS6 manifold.

ALSO: get o2 sensor extensions or run bosch 13111 sensors (off a 2000 corvette, the wire is legit 4-5 feet long)

*ground clearance isnt that big of an issue, atleast wasnt with me (stock springs and decarbons)*

I'm going with the bbk as the power gains are nice for the size, and the possible extra .5in of clearance over the tsp will be a huge difference for me. I can't even stick a sideways can under my lowest point on my stock piping. The stance is just too sick to raise it back up though. Worth the extra $100 for the coated bbks since they will be installed for maybe 5 years? I would still be way below budget with the extra cost for coated. Now if only I could find a reputable localish shop to install for less than $450. Not too afraid to drive. I just got back from a 300mi round trip to Augusta to get my shifter centering. Wouldn't wanna go much farther than that. Could I expect an overall 1in+ gain over stock with bbk headers and ory?
