Guys with a Y pipe and a Qtec cutout... Where did you mount your cutout? Right after the Y or after the Y and I pipe connect?
Do you have any pics you can show me?
How did you wire it up? Where did you run the wires?
Where did you put your switch?

My cutout is right before the muffler. I didn't wire it, but the switch is in my ash tray. If you didn't buy it yet don't, b/c my QTEC broke when the motor and sensor came off during a high speed run. Other people have had reliability issues, too. Now I have a manual cutout b/c I haven't fixed it yet.

i cant believe people are having problems with theses?....................
ive been using mine for a while now and have had NO poblems! in fact it is the coolest mod ive done yet! these cut-outs are awsome.
as far as a place to put it, there is a perfect spot just befor the over the axle bend....and theres room to twist it a little so nothing hangs.
-as far as having it falling off that sounds like a poor install not faulty product!
the bolts that came on my flowtech cut-out seemed a little short (could only get about 2 threads) so i grinded them off and welder longer ones on there! problem solved. then just rum the wire up under the passenger side rear seat ( there is a ruber gromet, just cut a tiny slit in it and run the wire threw. then run it from there to the center consol.....tap into the ground from the cig. lighter and get power from the traction control switch i think its pink or purple, and i installed it in my consol compartment, no room in the ashtray with my SLP fan swith...(another good mod!)
i think some people swap out there switch for a smaller one but i didnt....
its freakin awsome just take your time have fun and it will be done in a day!

QTEC cutouts are awesome! they dont not break like that guy said...i have had mine for a while and love it...so do many of my friends that have them..they are an awesome mod..
