So far I can say that the TSP passenger side header goes in just as easy as my old pacesetter did. Putting in plugs was just as easy as well.

The only issue I ran into was that I had to swap out the bolt that holds the dipstick tube to the head. Mine had a larger head on it (15mm) with what looks like a built on washer (larger ring around the bolt head) and was hitting the header flange I swapped it out for a traditional bolt that had a 15mm head also, but did not have the extra "ring" around the bolt head and it fit fine. I am not sure others will run into that issue as that bolt may not have been original in the first place.

I got the passenger side completely done tonight and will be doing the driver's side tomorrow evening.

Common on all LS header installs-I used some lockwashers and the factory bolt. I found my drivers side went on just as easy as passenger, infact easier, IMHO. No k-member cutting, no remove oil filter.

NICE! Can't wait to get this thing back together. I have been catching up on other issues like finishing the POR15 on the bottom of the car, re-applying thread sealer on the rocker bolts and a couple of little things.

The driver's side is in. It took a bit more work, but wasn't bad. I had to remove the oil filter and drain plug as well as grind down a 1" section of the K-member. The K-member issue was VERY minor but it was holding me up. My k member had a lip on it that I had to basically just take the edge off and it slipped right in. (it was so minor that I used my dremel with a grinding stone to take the edge off).

I did not have to take out the motor mounts or any of that business.

BTW-I have poly mounts already and my firewall had been "adjusted" previously to fit the pacesetters.

Collectors sit almost exactly where my pacesetter collectors did.

I had my jackstands sitting at 20" high and had no issues with it not being high enough.

Would I buy them again? Would not hesitate at all. I think these are a great set of headers for the money.

My TSP 1-7/8" lt's slid in from below with no removal of anything.. I removed heat shields I didn't need to keep rattles from happening and clearance better. I also beat down some metal pieces that stick out on both sides that hold the heat shields so they wouldn't scrape the headers as they were installed. I installed both of them in a couple hours using stock header bolts with some loc-tite. I also cut some body material on drivers side out so they tuck up tighter and don't hit and rattle against the body. Turned out very nice. Best bang for buck header and especially being stainless with 1-7/8" primaries and velocity spike in the collector. Great buy and upgrade!

Nice upgrade! I just bought a set of these to upgrade from my old school painted Hooker headers while the car is in the shop for a rebuild. Excited about the stainless finish and the larger primaries.

Interested in hearing your thoughts once you get it fired back up.

Just got it all buttoned up today with the TSP 1 7/8" SS headers, TSP SS Y-pipe with FM 3">4" merge, single custom 4" exhuast with a Hooker Maxflow dumped (similar to the mufflex). I am very happy with the setup.

My buddy has a similar build with the Mufflex and Magnaflow muffler, sounds very close to each other.

TSP headers FTW. They are easy to install and they make great power on a true dual exhaust setup
