Default TPS reading 15%....high idle

I've got a tps angle of 15-18% at idle once car warms up... 0% when I first start it up...after a couple minutes car idles at about 1150 and angle goes up...replaced the tps with a new one..didnt help...checked wiring and it looks good...what would cause this??? I haven't seen an angle this high posted by anyone

yes it is adjusted correctly. I just took the car out and with the scan tool realized that everything is okay until I accelerate PAST 15%...When I do this it doesn't return to 0% when I let off. It stays there until I turn the car off and reset it...

what is your complaint related to the thorrtle should never be 0 percent dont forget you have an iac that allows a certain amount of air to pass by the throttle blade at idle to keep the engine running my car reads 12 percent open does the car surge idle really high what i have doubts about why you are replacing the throttle postion sensor just wanting to know
